Our Methods

At Best Life K9, our methods are Positive First. We believe that the key to GREAT animal training is by building an amazing relationship with dogs based on leadership, trust, respect, and love.

It is critical that our dogs understand what is expected of them and that we set clear boundaries in order to set them up for success!

By the end of the training your dog’s behavior will be transformed and your relationship will be stronger than ever.

Whether it means hiking off leash with your dog or simply having a harmonious relationship around the house, it is time to start living the life with your dog that you have always wanted.

Why Choose Us?

Whether you are interested in sending your dog to us for a board and train program, or you want to be a bigger part of the training process via private sessions, we will help you feel comfortable knowing that you and your dog will be treated like family. We are a small company (not a kennel), so you know that your dog is not just one of the many.

In our board and train program, your dog will live with us in our home, with our family and personal dogs. They will be practicing how to behave appropriately in a home daily, while also taking regular field trips to parks, dog friendly stores and other public places for distraction work. Sending your dog away for training is hard and we try to make it as easy and stress free for you and your dog as possible.

In our private sessions we work with you one-on-one to help you feel confident and have a training plan that you feel comfortable with. Many of our clients come to us feeling stressed out, and discouraged. Our promise to you is that you will leave feeling hopeful and excited to start enjoying life with your dog again!
